As an expert career coach for 21^st-century nurses, my goal is to help and inspire nurses to elevate themselves and their professional lives through savvy career management and the use of practical tools to get them where they want to go.

This book was born from my desire to reach as many nurses as possible with the simple message that networking is a learned skill, and we can all utilize it in order to move our professional lives in a positive direction along a trajectory manifested through conscious intention and forward thinking.

This book offers insights and inspiration for any nurse who wants to take his or her professional networking to the next level. It will pique your curiosity, challenge you to try your hand at new networking skills, and cajole you to make networking a consistent, constructive, and ultimately, enjoyable practice that will manifest countless benefits for your professional career and level of personal satisfaction.

In the course of the book, I also share a story about my personal history, my Jewish origins, and how nursing became my raison d'etre when I realized, at 29, that I was indeed a father, husband, and breadwinner in need of a professionally remunerative and personally satisfying career.
