I used to wear scrubs wi...Wow this is a great post. I used to wear scrubs with flowers and such thinking it was cute but didn't realize what kind of image it gave off. Also, the part about addressing ourselves as "Nurse ____". I think I am going to start using this way of introduction because it makes sense. We worked hard for our degrees too and should be recognized for it. I myself have been guilty of some of the short comings described here. <BR/><BR/>Not enough emphasis have been placed on the importance of what I do. Usually I am more focused on how much I am overworked and wonder what did I get into. The trends at te work place when it comes to dress code is ridiculous and I began following because no one said anything.
