The concept of detaching with love is something I keep forgetting. Your post today is a good reminder to remember to take care of myself, too. Thanks so much.amhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09212213177713917828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10246967.post-57100394120419134762008-07-29T20:59:00.000-04:002008-07-29T20:59:00.000-04:00You are both so right. About ten years ago, I actively decided when I leave the job, it stays there I do not take it home. It takes a great deal of effort to do, but it can be done. I am not a nurse at home, unless something comes up and I have to be. I can and do compartmentalize and it's saved my sanity.Sabrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07631390037196994595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10246967.post-25855538682434286762008-07-29T06:20:00.000-04:002008-07-29T06:20:00.000-04:00Attachment is definitely requisite to the job, but...Attachment is definitely requisite to the job, but at the end of the day we don't really need to end up lying on the bed ourselves.

So I suppose we all need to learn how to switch off. Or we go beyond the utmost tree of our burnout limits... Thanks for the blogroll.

Cheers!howlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14153102269581786431noreply@blogger.com
